How to Introduce Teeth Brushing
- Start by putting a small amount of toothpaste on your finger and letting your pet taste it
- Gently rub the toothbrush around your pet's mouth so they become familiar with it
- Say "teeth time" - make it a positive, fun routine
- Brush at the same time each day (best after eating). Even 1 minute is better than nothing.
- Gradually increase brushing time as you both become more comfortable
Best results: Brush a minimum of 3 times per week. Daily is ideal.
