About Australian Animal Oral Care

Australian Animal Oral Care is a mobile pet dental cleaning service for dogs and cats, offering anaesthesia-free appointments across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. We also provide home dental-care products and information to help owners build an ongoing oral hygiene routine.

Meet our founder, Dr Cesar Vargas

Our founder, Dr Cesar Vargas, has more than 25 years of experience in veterinary medicine and natural pet health. His background includes a DVM qualification and work as a veterinary surgeon in Colombia.

Dr Cesar is not registered as a veterinarian in Australia and does not perform surgery.

His work with Australian Animal Oral Care focuses on non-surgical oral hygiene for dogs and cats.

Our approach to pet oral care

We offer dental cleaning without sedation or anaesthesia. Suitability needs to be considered individually, taking account of your pet's oral health, medical history, behaviour and comfort.

Our service does not replace assessment by an Australian-registered veterinarian, dental X-rays or recommended veterinary treatment. Senior age or a medical condition does not automatically make anaesthesia-free cleaning suitable. If your pet has mouth pain or other dental concerns, seek veterinary advice before booking.

We encourage owners to combine appropriate home oral hygiene with regular veterinary dental assessments.

Mobile appointments in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland

We visit partner pet businesses and offer home appointments within our service areas. Venues include grooming salons, dog day care businesses, boarding facilities and other pet-care locations. Availability depends on our travelling schedule and your suburb.

Explore our partner locations and confirm your preferred venue and date before travelling. Cat appointments are offered as home visits only.

Ask about a complimentary oral check

Complimentary checks are available by appointment at our locations. If your pets requires more surgical intervention than our dental clean, we will refer you back to your local Vet Clinic.
