Diatomaceous Earth (DE) is a 100% natural, chemical-free powder made from crushed fossils of freshwater organisms. At a microscopic level it's razor-sharp to insects - cutting through their protective structures and causing them to dehydrate and die - while being completely safe for pets and humans. Used both externally for fleas and ticks, and internally as a digestive cleanser and worm treatment.
What It Can Help With
- External parasites - fleas, ticks, lice, and mites
- Internal parasites - roundworms, whipworms, hookworms (less effective on tapeworms; not effective on heartworm)
- Digestive detox & cleanse - natural colon cleanser when used internally for 30+ days

How to Use
External (flea & tick prevention):
- Sprinkle powder over your pet's coat, starting from the base of the tail
- Pull back the hair to get the powder to skin level
- Avoid eyes, nose, and mouth - DE can irritate mucous membranes
- Alternatively, wrap in a cloth and rub deep into fur
Internal (detox, digestive cleanser, internal parasites):
- Must be mixed well into wet food - do not allow inhalation of the powder
- Use daily for a minimum of 30 days to ensure all hatchlings and worm cycles are addressed

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it safe for cats? Yes - food-grade DE is safe for both dogs and cats. Use proportionally smaller amounts for cats.
Does it work on tapeworms or heartworm? DE is less effective on tapeworms and does not affect heartworm (which lives in the heart, not the digestive tract). Consult your vet for these conditions.
How long until I see results? External results can be seen within days. Internal parasite treatment requires consistent daily use for at least 30 days to break the full worm cycle.
